Sabrina Aleece Sageser and Marcus Chance Byers exchangedmarriage vows Friday evening, Oct. 21, 2011, at Ranch HouseWeddings in Canyon with the Rev. Neil Unwin, former pastor of FirstAssembly of God in Plainview, officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Deana and Jimmy Sageser of Edmonsonand the granddaughter of Janice Sageser of Plainview and the lateJames Sageser and Orville Finck of Tulia and the late NormaFinck.
Byers is the son of Lisa and Jody Peterson of Montezuma, Kan., andMark Byers of Plainview and the grandson of Clinton and GailThrasher of Plainview and Martha Byers of Wichita, Kan., and thelate Kenneth Byers.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, thebride wore a satin pick-up gown with laced back, complemented witha sweetheart halter neckline. Her veil was held by a whitefeathered headpiece and she held a bouquet of turquoise, pink,orange and white Gerbera daisies, ranunculus and hydrangeasaccented with peacock feathers.
Kandace Ehrlich of Plainview was maid of honor. Bridesmaids wereBrandi Byers of Silverton, the groom’s sister, and Kelsey Wolf ofKermit.
They wore truffle knee-length strapless dresses with peacockheadpieces and held bouquets of Gerberas, ranunculus andhydrangeas.
Kendra Finck of Tulia, the bride’s cousin, registered guests.
Zane Peterson of Montezuma, Kan., the groom’s brother, was ringbearer.
Keifer Thrasher of Plainview, the groom’s cousin, was best man.Groomsmen were Drew Sageser of Edmonson, the bride’s brother, andBrendon Thrasher of Plainview. Ushers were Ky Finck of Canyon, thebride’s cousin, Cannon Thrasher of Plainview, the groom’s cousin,and Cole Kruse of Plainview.
Terry Simmons of Floydada was vocalist.
A reception was held after the ceremony. Assistants were JordynHowe of Lubbock, Ellen Hart of Plainview and Rachel Fite ofAmarillo.
The couple resides in Wheeler.
The bride is a graduate of Plainview High School and received anassociate degree in radiology from Midland College. she is employedby Parkview Hospital in Wheeler.
Byers is a graduate of Plainview High School and is a supervisor atWhite Energy.
The groom’s family hosted a rehearsal dinner at the home of thegroom’s grandparents, Clinton and Gail Thrasher.
Hostesses for a miscellaneous shower in the First United MethodistChurch parlor were Libbi Alexander, Cathy Banda, MargaretBeerwinkle, Phyllis Coleman, Tracy Dawson, Becky Ehrlich, JanieHart, Jackie Howard, D’Lee Marble, Catherine Simmons, Kylie Sodek,Dondi Spencer, Amanda Thrasher, Glenda Tipton, Shayla Whalen andPatty White.
